Happy Birthday, President McDonough!

We celebrated the President's birthday with the whole mission.  At about 1:01 PM on his birthday text messages started coming on his phone.  Every two or so minutes he'd receive a text with birthday wishes or a phone call with a birthday song.  It made his day!

 Sisters showed up at our house that evening with Lyndi's famous and delicious Coconut Cake!

 

 

We also enjoyed Skyping and FaceTiming with our kids and oh-so-cute grandkids. 

Love them all and miss them like crazy!

I don't know if the president was able to finish all the letters to the missionaries that night, but with the coming week and P-day moved to T-day (Transfer-day), he probably completed them all. 

Quite a feat each week!
