A Very Special Visitor

President McDonough's father is 95 years old.  He will be 96 on October 23.  He was stationed at Camp Shelby near Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in January of 1944 previous to his going to Europe in the army for two years.  President McDonough's mother lived in Hattiesburg until his father shipped out.  She lovingly spoke about it many times throughout her life.  Dad McDonough had papers that told of the address of the house where she rented a room.  The house is no longer there.  It was so interesting to visit Camp Shelby and the museum there with Dad.  The guide was excellent.  We have a history in Mississippi!
